La Maison Bleu – Gite 1

On the first floor there are 2 large bedrooms and a smaller bedroom. The 2 large bedrooms have double or twin beds with a very comfortable day bed that can be used as a settee or when an additonal bed is required. The smaller bedroom has a single bed. There is a large shower room with toilet.Each bedroom is well decorated with plenty of storage. All the beds have duck feather duvets  and all the comforts associated with a home from home. Each room contains a pedestal fan for additional comfort during the hot summer nights.

On the ground floor there is another large bedroom containing a day bed for use as a settee or when an additional bed is required. There is also a bathroom with shower and a seperate toilet.

The house is spacious and  has ample accommodation for 8-10 people.

The large open plan living area has a cosy log burner and plenty of seating for everyone. There is a well equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher and washing machine, and a dining area with a large oak dining table.

The house has satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, with a DVD and CD player and plenty of books and games.

The french windows lead straight on to the private Patio with stunning views over the garden and countryside beyond.There is a BBQ and large patio table  and chairs for Al Fresco eating and relaxing in the setting sun.

La Petite Maison – Gite 2

This is a charming property with lots of character. The walls are exposed stone giving a really cool escape from the hot summer sun. There is a large beautifully decorated double bedroom with bright, fresh bathroom with shower and toilet on the first floor and a lovely double bedroom with bathroom, shower and toilet on the second floor.

The main living area has a lovely log burner with plenty of seating and a very comfortable bed settee for additional accommodation if required. There is satellite TV with DVD player and CD and plenty of books and games. There is a modern well equiped kitchen, with a dining table with room to seat 4 – 5 people.

The rear door leads to a private patio area overlooking the gardens for BBQ’s and relaxing in the evenings enjoying the last of the day’s sunshine.

The Gardens, Pool and Games Room

Gardens:

Les Girouteaux – The Gites are set in 4 acres of garden meadow and woodland and are the perfect choice for those seeking peace and tranquility.

The gardens are south facing and are laid mainly to grass excellent for football. You can enjoy sun all day whilst relaxing in the peaceful surroundings with plenty of outside eating areas, in sun or in shade. There is the river area and woods to explore, and a small brook runs all the way through the gardens.

At the side of the gites there are ample shady spots to park several cars. This is an ideal location for those who enjoy nature in unspoilt surroundings. You can play in the garden, read in the shade or sit under the parasols with a drink. There is a rich variety of flora and fauna – we see many different birds including eagles and there are toads, salamanders, lizards, wild deer and rabbits. Just Lovely !!!

Pool:

The swimmming pool is well sited in the south facing garden and enjoys full sun throughout the day. Surrounding the pool is a wooden sun deck with plenty of sunloungers for soaking up the beautiful sunshine. There are also tables, chairs and parasols for cooling drinks. The pool has stunning views of the surrounding countryside and gardens of the gite and looks down towards the river at the bottom of the hill.

Games Room:

The childrens play area has a trampoline with safety net, a sandpit and swings. We have also added a Pirate Ship and a play house for 2011. There is a games room with a pool table, table football and other games to keep children and young people occupied. The gardens a large enough for a football or cricket match. The grounds are laid mainly to grass and meadow land with mature trees so there is plenty of room for hide and seek.
